Janaina Spady
Registered Provisional Psychologist
In addition to being a Registered Provisional Psychologist, I am a Registered Nurse in Alberta. If you are a frontline worker, first responder, or someone navigating the complexities of adult life and relationships, I would love to meet you.
I support clients navigating first-hand & vicarious trauma, stress, burnout, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and relationship stressors. If you’ve been through a difficult situation at work, the daily challenges of a relationship, family planning, pregnancy, loss, or change, you may need someone to help you listen, learn, and process. As a medical professional, I have supported patients in navigating complex challenges in the hospital setting. There are also times I’ve been restricted in the support I could provide. I became a therapist to expand what I could offer to people who need to talk or who are looking for tools to build better lives.
My practice is informed by feminist and multicultural perspectives, recognizing the many factors that shape us as individuals. I proudly affirm 2SLGBTQI+ identities, body diversity, neurodivergence, and gender diverse individuals.
It’s overwhelming to look for a therapist. You have already taken an important step towards positive change, by looking into who might be a good fit to support you in your journey. I recommend booking a 15-minute consultation with myself and a few others, to see who the best fit for you is. Now accepting clients based in Alberta.
