I want to work on combatting the idea that going to therapy means that you’re “weak” or “broken”. Those suffering from severe mental disorders are not the only ones who can benefit from therapy. Many of the distressing symptoms we may experience are normal reactions to abnormal life situations; learned behaviors that previously served us well but can no longer be maintained or work as effective coping mechanisms.

“I am inspired by the immense courage shown by those who choose to seek support and take part in the intimate, emotional and beautiful journey that is therapy. “
Life can be messy, stressful, and challenging, I get it. My goal is to show you that you don’t have to walk this journey alone. Sometimes in life we feel as though we are unravelling at the seams, and we have difficulty finding hope and creating change. If you're struggling with processing your emotions, overcoming disordered eating, trauma, or relationship concerns, let me help you.

“I believe that human connection can be an extremely powerful means of healing and I have a deep respect for people who take a chance and trust the therapeutic process. My love of psychology comes from a longstanding history of supporting the people in my life and I have a natural inclination towards understanding the human condition. I feel extremely privileged that my career path has afforded me the ability to teach and practice psychology as well as conduct research in the area of diversity – Something I am extremely passionate about! “
